Resources on W. Edward Deming and His Philosophy of ManagementW. Edward Deming was a statistician, professor, author, lecturer, and consultant. He is one of the fathers of the modern quality movement. In the 1950's, he taught management in Japanese companies how to improve quality, and this contributed to Japanese companies' ability to produce high quality, innovative products. This helped Japan grow into a major economic power. It was only later that US companies started paying attention to his message. Deming developed the concepts of Profound Knowledge and The 14 Obligations of Management, which are central to Make "It" Happen Mastery. WebsitesThe W. Edwards Deming Institute BooksVideos
